Visit to UCLAN for tours of the forensic science and chemistry laboratories
The next event of OCCA Manchester Section is a visit to UCLAN for tours of the forensic science and chemistry laboratories, including nano technology capabilities and other analytical services.
PhD students will present their poster sessions of work being done with dyes in medical and other areas of research.
There will be opportunities to outreach and network with Science and Chemistry students and members are invited to attend to share personal experiences of working in the surface coatings and chemical industries to encourage Students to follow in our footsteps.
The event takes place in the JB Firth building on Monday 15th October commencing at 4.00pm.
A hot and cold buffet/meal will follow at 6.00pm in Scholars Restaurant.
